Create a travel-oriented polar parka that brings superior warmth and weather protection without the typical bulk or weight.

The Approach.

It all began with the novel idea of creating a parka that packs into its own integrated backpack. To make that happen, every material and construction had to be carefully considered. For both packability and superior weather protection, the exterior is a lightweight waterproof-breathable with key areas of reinforcement and strategic seam-sealing at the hood and shoulders, while the interior is a soft microfiber taffeta housing lofty yet compressible 800-Fill RDS-certified goose down. Additional clever features such as a removable faux fur trim, extendable hood brim, expandable hem, interior dump pockets and a hands-free carry system (the straps of which serve double duty for the integrated backpack) make this parka the perfect winter travel companion.
