The Approach.

While the Alpenglow Hoody may look simple, no element went unconsidered. The high neckline provides additional protection from the sun, the raglan sleeve and gusset maximum mobility and layerability, the flatlock seams next-to-skin comfort, the banded hem a snug fit under a pack or harness, and the small conceal zippered pocket at side body a secure spot to stash a key and credit card when traveling light. The selected fabric is astonishingly multi-faceted. Not only does the lightweight knit have a UPF rating of 50+, it also has both an odor control treatment and mineral-based cooling technology that reduces the wearer’s perceived temperature.
