The Challenge.

Update the successful jogger-style Notion Pant to be even more tailor-made for climbing.

The Approach.

This project was a bit unusual in that what was originally intended to be an update to the Notion Pant ended up becoming an additional version, since it was decided to leave the casual Notion as-is. The slightly sportier SP features BD’s signature horizontal hand pockets (over the chino pockets of the Notion) and an internal exposed elastic waistband and drawcord (over the external encased elastic waistband and drawcord of the Notion) for overall improved harness compatibility. From the Notion, the SP maintained the jogger silhouette, soft organic cotton fabric with a touch of stretch, encased elastic cuffs, reinforced knees, and gusset.
